What type of team player are you?

We all have different roles in life, at home, at work, in business. We behave differently at different times dependent upon various situations and adopt distinct roles, behaviours, traits and reactions. When we hold these roles, we may be inside or outside our comfort zone which will change our behaviour also. In a team, we always need a leader, and we need good team players who perform separate roles. Those who challenge things, those who facilitate situations to assist, whilst others may be resistant to participate. Edwards de Bono has his Six Thinking Hats which explains this in more detail and is helpful particularly in meetings or work situations. What we do know is a team player is someone who enthusiastically contributes to their team to complete tasks and to achieve team goals. A key attribute of a team member is to actively listen to their co-workers, respecting each other’s

You are not alone! Did you know?

Glossophobia or speech anxiety is the fear of public speaking. “According to most studies, people’s number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death! Death is number two! Does that sound right? That means to the average person, if you go to a funeral, you’re better off in the casket than doing the eulogy”. Jerry Seinfeld As a former glossophobic myself very many years ago, I can relate to this totally. Now I’m comfortable speaking in front of any size audience and enjoying being at the front making people aware of my business, my services or a topic that I know people will relate to. Seeing the possibilities or value opportunity “When you are grateful, fear disappears, and abundance appears.” Tony Robbins “The key to abundance is meeting limited circumstances with unlimited thoughts.” Marianne Williamson “See yourself living in abundance and you will attract

You don’t have TIME to read this do you?

I wish I had more time! There aren’t enough hours in my day!I really need to make more time!If I do this, I will save so much timeI’ll do this when I get round to it!My time just runs away with me! I bet you’ve said at least one of the above at some point in your life, haven’t you? The thing is we all have the same amount of hours in the day, it’s how we make use of it that matters. We all have good intentions of starting, stopping, do less of or more of ‘tomorrow’. But unfortunately tomorrow never comes, and so it goes on. At times feel we have wasted so much time in our day and feel so unproductive at the end of a day and yet never ‘stop’ to consider why we weren’t productive or how we might make changes to make best use of
